I am proud to offer a unique blend of expertise and patient-centered care for women in all stages of life and health.
Inpatient and outpatient services are used to provide patient-centered and multi-disciplinary care to women with many types of gynaecological concerns, such as exclusion of female cancers. A full range of gynaecological services are offered, emphasising education and healthy lifestyle choices, along with detailed explanations explaining your symptoms and treatment options.
Having a healthy pregnancy is one of the best ways to promote a healthy birth. Getting early and regular prenatal care improves the chances of a healthy pregnancy. This care can begin even before pregnancy with a pre-pregnancy care visit. Prenatal care helps decrease risks during pregnancy and increases the chance of a safe and healthy delivery.
Fertility and Miscarriage
Services and consultations are provided to support individuals and couples to become parents. Management of female conditions such as polycystic ovaries, tests for tubal patency, and assessment for ovarian reserve by blood tests and ultrasound scan can all be managed.
There is a specific service for women seeking reassurance from a general fertility assessment as well as those women who require assessment for recurrent miscarriage.
In women with significant menopausal symptoms that interfere with your day-to-day life, consultations are offered to discuss treatments, and suggest lifestyle changes.Treatment such as hormone replacement therapy (HRT) – tablets, skin patches, gels and implants that relieve menopausal symptoms by replacing oestrogen, as well as vaginal oestrogen creams, lubricants or moisturisers for vaginal dryness can all be discussed.
As lead for early pregnancy and emergency gynaecology, I am skilled in women's ultrasound scanning. I have obtained Royal College of Obstetrician and Gynaecology certification in gynaecological ultrasound scanning.
Many women, particularly those nearing the menopause are affected by a wide range of conditions affecting the outer vaginal skin (vulva). Skin colour changes, patches, swellings and irritation are all worries for a number of women. Consultations are provided to review theses areas and take biopsies if necessary or provide various skin care regimes to resolve these issues.
